However, Gizzi's look came across as effortlessly cool as she mixed glam with casual, wearing her hair in a beehive style á la Amy Winehouse.
Before training to be a chef, Gizzi was a professional body piercer until she realised that it couldn't be a long-term plan.
The TV chef has hosted cookery shows on Channel 4 and made appearances on ITV1 and Sky1 cooking shows.
Although TV chefs aren't usually on the guest list for such events, her previous punk lifestyle is what bagged an her invite to the infamous awards show.
