Greyhound charity seeks unwanted scarves
The Retired Greyhound Trust is asking men and women across the country to clear out their wardrobes and make a clothing donation.

It is looking specifically for unwanted ladies' scarves to use in a charity sale event at the Spirit of Summer Fair at London's Olympia on May 16th and 17th.

The Trust's chief executive Peter Laurie explained that the charity dedicates itself to finding homes for ex-racing greyhounds and found over 4,000 new homes for dogs last year.

Working with The London Ladies Club he said that the fair will see them offer "a range of elegant and beautiful scarves for sale, including some unique, vintage and collectible designs to suit all styles and budgets".

Supporting the work of the Trust, British model Twiggy said that she too has "personally donated a scarf," and encouraged people to dig deep in their cupboards to see if they have any they no longer wear which could be given to the cause.
