Coldplay wowed music fans on Saturday night at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow.
The band performed a number of tracks from their albums, including some from their latest offering Ghost, to the crowd of 250,000 people.
Lead singer Chris Martin was certainly dressed for the occasion - sporting a smart black hat and military-style coat.
He made a guest appearance on stage with the Kings of Leon in the afternoon, much to the delight of the crowd, joining in with the song Fans, before teaming up with his bandmates as the headline act in the evening.
It was the first time he has performed on stage since his split from Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow - and he clearly enjoyed himself. The 37-year-old even surprised fans with a short version of One Direction's Best Song Ever.
The stunning set in Glasgow, which featured a colourful display of lasers and fireworks, marked Coldplay's first appearance on stage in the UK this year.
