Tonight, around 450 of Londoners are set to brave the November cold and take part in a mass sponsored sleep out challenge for charity.
Sleepout at Old Spitalfields Market, sponsored by the SockShop's Heat Holder Thermal Socks
, is an opportunity to better understand the plight of homeless people in the UK, while also raising money for a great cause.
Participants will sleep in cardboard boxes on the hard cold floor in order to get a little closer to the situation of those they are trying to help.
Each sleeper is asked to raise a minimum of £350 to take part in the event and organisers, youth homelessness charity Centrepoint, are hoping to raise a total of £250,000.
The event will be attended by celebrities such as Loose woman Denise Welch, Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox and comedian Patrick Monahan.Spread the message with your feet with our charity socks
