British fashionistas keen to get some inspiration for a sophisticated outfit for a special occasion should look no further than Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is often photographed in flesh-coloured tights
and a beautiful dress at official functions, has been named Britain's Best Dressed Woman by Harper's Bazaar.
Kate and sister Pippa have barely been out of international fashion headlines since her marriage to Prince William in Westminster Abbey in April this year, so it is little surprise she topped the list of the country's 20 Most Influentially-Attired.
The latest addition to the royal family has stolen the limelight from other fashionista frontrunners, including supermodel Kate Moss, actress Emma Watson and Samantha Cameron, prime minster David Cameron's wife.
Bazaar's editor Lucy Yeoman described the dress worn by Kate at the royal wedding as "the year's - if not the century's - most thrilling fashion moment".
