Rugby players from around the world are preparing to take part in the Heroes Rugby Challenge on December 3rd at Twickenham Stadium.
To raise awareness of the Help for Heroes charity, players and celebrities are donning striped sports socks
in the run up to the big day.
The one-off game is aiming to raise over £1 million to help support wounded service men and women and hopes to sell 70,000 tickets.
Its December date marks the tenth anniversary of Britain's armed forces operations in Afghanistan and it is hoped that it will raise even more money than a similar sporting event held in 2008.
Popular celebrities including Camilla Dallerup, Lorraine Kelly, Mark Owen, Colin Jackson, Harry Redknapp and Jon Snow have all been photographed wearing the long striped socks
for the charitable campaign.
