Jemima Khan pulled on a pair of tights as part of her outfit at the UNICEF UK Halloween Ball at One Mayfair in London on Thursday.
The campaigner and associate editor of the New Statesman took inspiration from Natalie Portman's character in the 2010 film Black Swan, combining the tights, with a black corset and tutu as well as a black feather bower.
"I imagined Natalie Portman. Result was gothic Big Bird," Khan wrote on her Twitter page afterwards.
Khan appeared alongside other well known celebrities such as Hugh Grant, James Nesbitt, former journalist and MP Martin Bell and Ewan McGregor at the event, which raised over £1 million towards helping improve lives of children caught up in the Syrian Civil War.
Khan has worked as a UNICEF UK Ambassador for 12 years and has run a number of campaigns in Pakistan, Romania and Kenya.
