It may be some 2,000 km away from her native Denmark, but actress Helle Fagralid felt that the Roman air was cold enough for tights as she pulled on a sheer black pair for the screening of Sorrow and Joy (Sorg og Glaede) at the Rome International Film Festival.
The 37-year-old, who will be best known to UK audiences for her role in the hit Danish detective drama The Killing, combined the sheer tights with an elegant cream silk dress with black lace overlay.
She accessorised with some simple black heels, a black clutch bag and a bangle-style bracelet. Her blonde hair was curled and pulled back into an elegant up-do.
The glamorous ensemble was a far cry from the simple white shirt, black trousers and wedged boots Helle wore during a photocall for the movie earlier in the day.
She appeared on the red carpet alongside fellow cast members Jakob Cedergren, Maja Dybboe and Nicolas Bro, along with director Nils Malmros, for the first screening on Sorrow and Joy.
