Sock monster conspiracy revealed in new book
Monsters are the real explanation for bizarre, unexplainable phenomena that happen every day, according to author Garry Vaux.

In his new book House Demons, Mr Vaux attempts to explain why the idea of an invisible Sock Monster may be among the best explanations for missing tights and other legwear available, reports S&B Media.

He told the news service: "It's about explaining things that happen during the day that most people don’t really think about.

"If you stop for a moment you realise there must be a reason why these things happen."

Mr Vaux says that his book is based on research, primarily the studies of Victor Grimble, a former professor of electrical engineering at Kingston University.

House Demons follows the publication of a children's book by Fabiana Cavelaris, which concerns the phenomenon of lost socks.

However, unlike Mr Vaux's title, The Sock Keeper seeks to offer an alternative fictional conspiracy theory explaining the disappearance of leg wear.
