The Sock Keeper unravels legwear mysteries for kids
A new children's book seeks to reassure kids about one of the world's longest-standing mysteries - disappearing clothes.

Fabiana Cavelaris' new book, the Sock Keeper, may be reassuring to many younger children, who may imagine some terrible monster responsible for missing leg wear.

This is certainly what the book's protagonist, a boy named Hubert, thinks.

However, the story quickly reveals to its readers that it is not some malicious monster that is stealing Hubert's socks, but instead a global conspiracy involving other children and the Post Office.

Despite all the hilarity, at the heart of the story is an important moral about having compassion for others.

Meanwhile, British author Garry Vaux has also penned a new children's book that concerns itself with disappearing socks, as well as other strange everyday occurrences that puzzle even the cleverest adults, reports S&B Media.
