Sweaty socks top worst smell list
A new survey from odour eliminator Febreze has revealed Britain's favourite and worst smells.

Smells which were found to be the most unpleasant included sweaty socks and wet dogs, with most people describing around half of their everyday smells to be bad.

On the other side of the spectrum, Britain's top smells were shown to be freshly baked bread, newly washed sheets and cooked bacon.

The survey by Febreze is part of a new investigation into different smells which will culminate in a male model spending four days in a clear plastic box near the site of the London Olympics, where he will be subjected to different odours.

Another recent study into smelly footwear found that men in France have the most pungent socks.

The research from Blacksocks also showed that German and British men have the cleanest socks, with a large majority changing them daily.
