SockShop launches Sock It viral game
In a bid to entertain its customers more, the team behind SockShop has introducted a new viral game.

Sock It, developed by viral and digital agency Tamba, aims to highlight the SockShop brand and allow fans of the company to have even more fun when shopping for tights, leggings, stockings and bed socks.

The game is an interactive multi-level game which gets players to match pairs of socks against a 60-second clock, partnering an overall effort by the company to create new microsites and introduce additional product ranges.

Cassie Ash, the marketing manager for SockShop.co.uk, said the brand has seen a "fantastic year" in its internet operations as well as through the introduction of a new store at Manchester Airport.

She continued: "Tamba has created an original viral game that represents SockShop's image as a popular British retailer - Sock It is an entertaining addition to our website and will encourage user engagement among regular customers and new visitors."

Tamba has created a number of big things for huge companies around the world, including Facebook widgets and applications and other games for Virgin Interactive, Kwik Fit, Virgin Active and E-ON.
