Rebecca Front pulled on a pair of tights for the TV Choice Awards at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Monday night.
The 49-year-old actress combined the tights with a pair of black shoes, a red dress and a black blazer.
Front, who made her name as the omnishambolic MP Nicola Murray in The Thick of It, is in the middle of filming Death Comes to Pemberley; a three-part mini series to be shown on BBC One, based on P.D. James' best selling novel.
The awards, which were voted for by readers of TV Choice, handed ITV's Broadchurch the gong for best new drama.
Other big winners at the TV Choice Awards were David Tennant and Miranda Hart, who won the best actor and actress gongs respectively, for the second time.
Doctor Who, which claimed the award for best drama series, was also given a special Outstanding Contribution to TV award.
