Kylie shows class at new drinks launch

Kylie Minogue and Coca-Cola have joined forces to launch a new drinks product sourced from Northumberland spring water.

Already a massive product in the US, Glaceau was launched in the UK with the help of the Aussie star and a good deal of glamour at the Dairy Art Centre in London.

Kylie looked breathtaking in black velvet, her top featuring rose cut-outs was paired with similarly-patterned legwear , finished off with a pair of black heels.

The star almost stole the show from the premium spring water product; almost, but not quite.

Glaceau Smartwater, a vapour distilled, electrolyte-finished product, has been sold in the US for 18 years, where It's popularity has led Coca-Cola bosses to bring it to Britain.

Now it is manufactured at the same Coca-Cola Enterprises factory as Schweppes Abbey Well water, on Coopies Lane Industrial Estate, in Morpeth.

Recent developments, led by the new launch, prompted the company to invest another £3.5 million in its Morpeth facility earlier this year.

Pete Smith, operations director at Coca-Cola Enterprises Morpeth, said: "This is an exciting new development for Morpeth.

"The factory already has a proud history of producing high quality water for consumers across Great Britain."
