David, please note, I found a couple of typo mistakes in one part of the original SockShop copy, so I’ve revised it. Please can you replace it with this:
Good to wear, good to the planet, these super soft men’s SueMe Tree Trunks are short leg boxers manufactured from 95% Beech Tree pulp fibre, which when turned into Modal fabric is durable, fast drying and naturally antibacterial. Beech trees make an ideal source for creating yearn. Far less demanding than cotton, modal can be produced to be CO2-neutral, with a material recovery rate of 95%, plus a low land and water requirement. Even the SueMe box is manufactured from recycled board, and printed using vegetable inks, and the care label is printed using water based inks.
The trunks have a silky waistband with stylish woven branding and a soft brushed lining for comfort. The seams are also designed for comfort - flat and overlock stitched, carefully placed in the design (developed by Olympic clothing engineers) so not to rub or chafe skin. A 210g knit and 5% Lycra content helps fit and shape retention. Each box of SueMe Tree Trunks also contains a packet of beech tree seeds, ready for planting and further help to offset environmental impact.
