Like the Finnish mountain slopes these ski socks are named after, UpHillSport “Halla” Alpine 4 Layer L3 Socks are impressive and perfect for anyone who spends time on fast slopes wearing a hard racer ski boot. These light yet warm knee length, multilayer socks combine merino wool with quick dry polyester, creating an environment that is able to hold warm air and absorb moisture, yet is breathable to move that moisture away swiftly and keep feet dry.
The leg shaft is kept thin and light for better boot fit and feel, but with protective merino wool cushioning placed at the shin. To ensure it stays in place without wrinkling on the foot, the Halla Sock has a fitted heel and an arch grip band, which also provides good mid-foot support. The soles are cushioned by merino wool knitted into terry loop increasing softness and comfort. The socks are closed with smooth toe seams to remove the potential for chafing and blisters. All UphillSport socks incorporating merino wool come from mulesing free farming sources.
