Ideal for wearing with all types of walking boots and shoes, unisex 1000 Mile Single Layer Walking Socks are designed to cushion, comfort, warm and protect feet equally, across three seasons. The socks, with their technical fibre blend including soft, natural merino wool, have a mix of loop cushioning and ventilated zones in the upper and arch to provide the best environment and temperature for walkers’ feet.
The socks in this twin pack, with a mix of two colours per multipack, have a customised feel fit, courtesy of the loop stitched pile volume, arch bracing and shaped design for reduced slippage. This plus the flat toe seams used, reduce skin-damaging friction and pressure on the skin, in turn preventing raw skin and blisters after hours of walking.

So far so good. I need socks to be durable as I spend 90% of my time in wellies. Most socks only last a max of 5-10 wears before holes appear so we shall see
