Made using only the very finest cashmere, these Falke No 1 85% Cashmere Knee High Socks are the ultimate in luxurious, sophisticated legwear for ladies who know the difference between the average and the exceptional. Using the rarest downy, fine undercoat combed from the fleece of the cashmere goat (Mongolian Capra hircus laniger) in the punishingly cold climates of the Himalayas. Hard to come by, only a mere 150 to 200 grams of the precious down can be collected from each goat per year. Once the raw down is processed into yarn in Italy, it has an ultra-fine thread count, giving the socks their delicately soft feel and lustre.
The impeccably-made socks have an indescribably creamy, ultra-soft feel next to the skin, fine in thickness, light in weight yet warm and insulating for the legs and feet. The other natural benefits of cashmere, its breathability and moisture wicking, ensure total comfort at all times.
