These are socks for those who really appreciate quality. Falke No 1 85% Cashmere Socks are made with cashmere collected on the rarified heights of the Himalayas from only the softest downy undercoat of the Mongolian Capra hircus laniger (cashmere goat) flocks (in fact, each cashmere goat can only yield a mere 150 to 200 grams of down per year, adding to its rarity and desirability). This down is then turned into yarn in Italy to produce a yarn with an ultra fine thread count and a sublimely creamy and soft feel.
Once expertly knitted by Falke, the resulting crew length socks are finely finished, unbelievably soft and kind to skin, blissfully warm, providing natural thermal insulation far exceeding their weight, yet also highly breathable and adept at moisture wicking. As you’d expect, Falke No 1 85% Cashmere Socks have impeccably flat, subtly hand-linked smooth toe seams and comfortable honeycomb weave cuffs, with reinforced heels and toes.
