Does throwing away old tights to become yet more landfill bother you? Worry no more, these Charnos Eco 80 Denier Opaque Tights are designed to totally decompose in five years. From the new Charnos Bio, Degradable hosiery range, they’re made from Amni Soul Eco®, the world’s first biodegradable polyamide and bio-elastane. It feels and wears just like the regular synthetics tights are made from, but crucially, can be recycled or quickly degrade in landfill.
Now, that doesn’t mean these tights will start decomposing while you’re wearing them — they’re too clever for that — but once they are included in the bacterial conditions that exist in landfill sites, they are completely digested, reducing that landfill bulk.
As tights, they’re everything you’d expect from Charnos. Soft, smooth and in an 80 denier weave, give an fully opaque look, waist to toes. They also have a cotton gusset.
