When you throw away your old tights, typically they’ll go into landfill with the rest of the non-recyclable and non-compostable waste, where they’ll sit for decades. Not these Charnos Eco 120 Denier Opaque Tights though! Part of their new Charnos Bio, Degradable hosiery range, these tights are made from Amni Soul Eco®, the world’s first biodegradable polyamide and bio-elastane.
That means that once these tights reach the end of their useable life (and that could be years off, depending how you care for your tights) and they end up as landfill, they will naturally biodegrade and be digested by the specific bacteria that exist in landfill sites. Amazing!
But, no matter how eco-conscious you are, you probably still want great-looking legs, yes? No worries here — these Italian-made, super-opaque 120 denier tights are every bit as soft, stretchy and smooth as Charnos’ ‘regular’ tights. They have a cotton gusset, which again, is natural and will decompose in landfill. Now, all you have to worry about is what earrings to wear with the rest of your outfit!
