| Last week we attended fashion brand Oroblu’s preview of its autumn/winter 13 collection at a rather swanky hotel in London. For those of you who aren’t familiar with socks that are fashionable, stylish with a dash of quirkiness thrown in. We had high expectations of what Oroblu would bring out for next winter and we weren’t disappointed… So we headed to the hotel, armed with our invitation and smart phones, ready to eat nibbles and take photos… |

So according to Oroblu, it is continuing with the theme of colour for its collections – |

Once the fashion show started, it was clear that bright, striking colours were a feature throughout the range – with strong contrasts and colour blocking grabbing everyone’s attention. |

Patterns were also a key element in the collection – we particularly loved this geometric print that featured in the show. |

Of course, this being an autumn/winter preview, there was still plenty of options for the more traditional tights-wearer, including this pair of grey tights which we think would be seriously warm and snuggly on a cold winter’s day! |

All in all we had a fantastic night and saw some rather lovely pieces - keep an eye out next winter to see which items have made it to the SOCKSHOP site. Cassie x |
