The evolution of a sock - sample time!
Posted by Katrina
It’s been a few weeks since I wrote about the design process for creating the new socks for our Autumn/Winter range. The next stage in the process is receiving and inspecting the samples. The socks have come back from the factory and the design team are pleased with the results. The patterns are clear and the colours really pop out. The bright colours are a bit new and different for the ELLE range, but they have worked and look great on the sock. |
It is now up to Kim and the team of designers to go through each product sample and decide if any small changes need to be made so that the sock can be the best it can possibly be. Amendments at this time include adjusting the pattern size and scale, or even tweaking the colour shade. |
Then final samples will be sent back to the designers, and once they are approved, the socks can be manufactured. So keep your eyes peeled in the next few months, as these lovely socks will be ready to go on sale! |
