Posted 8th March 2021 by SOCKSHOP
We are delighted to announce The College of Podiatry’s endorsement of our IOMI footnurseⓇ Gentle Grip and Cushion Foot Diabetic socks.
This endorsement is a huge milestone for SOCKSHOP and the IOMI footnurse® range which is ‘made to care’ and endeavours to help manage symptoms of diabetes while raising awareness of the healthcare benefits of specialised socks.
The College of Podiatry’s CEO, Steve Jamieson, commented: “At the College of Podiatry, we know all feet are unique. You deserve socks that are right for your feet and that is why we are delighted to be endorsing specialist products from SOCKSHOP.”
The Gentle Grip Diabetic Socks offer the style and comfort of the SOCKSHOP Gentle Grip range plus the benefits of specialised diabetic socks. The extra-wide Honeycomb Top™ gently moulds to legs to stay up all day long without pinching, while a smooth hand-linked toe seam prevents nicks and sores that could lead to infection.
IOMI Cushion Foot Diabetic Socks are designed to manage the symptoms of diabetes and help prevent cuts, sores and infection with footnurse® Easy Stretch™, cushioned soles, smooth toe seams and extra-wide legs, plus CoolMax fibre and Sanitized™ Actifresh.
The College of Podiatry’s panel tried and tested the Gentle Grip and Cushion Foot styles for over 1 month and concluded that they were beneficial to those managing the symptoms of diabetes and that they were to be endorsed as a recommended product.
Alok Ruia, Director of SOCKSHOP, says: “For our team, it is an honour to have the College of Podiatry acknowledging the value of this range to help improve people’s comfort whilst suffering with diabetes. It has taken SOCKSHOP many years to perfect this range, and it is a testimony to see that the innovation and hard work has now come to fruition.”
