These socks were nowhere near a size 4-8; in fact they were around an inch longer than the same socks as this type which I had bought previously. I did measure the new pair with the same pair of mine, but it was easy to tell simply by looking at them that they were far too big. I had bought duplicate pairs as my old ones were so comfortable, but I now doubt that I will be buying again from Sock Shop.

I like the soft cuff and the material, this is the third purchase of these type of socks as I like them better than any others. They stay soft throughout their life and wear well.

So soft and gentle on my feet and they don't slide down but they don't have a vice like grip at the top which would make your feet swell in the heat. I will be buying some more, and chucking out my old socks.
