A dual-layer outdoor runner’s sock that is great for variable environment winter runs, climbing and even cross-country skiing, UphillSport 2 Layer Running Socks are flat-knit to enable them to be worn with typically tight-fitting running shoes, but with thermally-efficient merino wool incorporated into the sole to defy rising cold underfoot.
The socks, designed and manufactured in Finland, have a fitted, Y-shaped heel, woven-in supports/grips around the mid-foot and arch and flat, Smooth Linked Toes for smooth seams that prevent abrasion and blistering during movement. The merino used is mulesing-free (mulesing is the controversial anti-flystrike sheep farming practice where strips of skin are removed without anaesthetic) and all yarn is traceable and sustainable.
