5 reasons why socks make great Christmas presents

  
No matter how you define its beginning – whether it’s seeing that famous soft drinks advert on the TV, noticing decorations and lights popping up here, there and everywhere, or finding yourself involuntarily singing Mistletoe and Wine – the Christmas season is moving in and, regardless of your best efforts at blissful ignorance, it’s about socks, of course! 
   

Okay, so maybe they’re a little cliché and we know we’re biased but hey, there’s a reason they’re in the present pile year after year.
  
Here’s 5 reasons why socks make great Christmas gifts:
   

Firstly and, probably most importantly, if the super wise and widely respected headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is disappointed when he doesn’t get a pair of socks for Christmas, well then you know what a wonderful gift they make.

So (by some strange chance) the recipient may not be a huge fan of the pattern you’ve chosen, but you can more than likely count on the fact that they’ll wear the socks you gifted them anyway because… Well, EVERYBODY needs socks! (We’re not sure we can say the same for Gran’s “classic” knitted Christmas jumper…)

5. They’re a doddle to wrap
   

There’s nothing worse than finding a tinsel tinglingly incredible Christmas gift for a loved one only to discover that, no matter what position you place it on the paper, you just can’t wrap it up!
