Keep all that escaping heat in for longer — much longer — with this Heat Holders Workforce 4.7 TOG Hat, specially designed for those who spend long hours outdoors, in cold, dark environments. This double layer knitted hat has an outer of thermally superior Heat Holders yarn, and an inner made from Heat Weaver, the brand’s plush fur-like layer that is now even softer and warmer, able to retain warm air in its fibres.
The two layers combined create a proven 4.7 TOG rating (as a very loose measurement, a basic light quilt is about 2.5 TOG) so it's more than capable of keeping you cosy through a working day. And, for anyone out during low light conditions near traffic, a twin stripe detail turn-up hem is woven using light-reflective yarn that will keep you seen and safe. Also available in 'safety' neon orange and yellow.
Very warm and comfortable fit, but there's a space between the insulating layer and the outer layer that makes it little bit floppy.
