I love these socks - they are so comfy & breathable. They have the right layer of thickness to protect my feet from my boots while working all day at the farm & hiking. They don't form balls of....whatever those balls are that can form especially after a long hike; upon one's socks. They also last ages. There are 2 tiny issues though: they take twice as long to dry as thin socks (that's because of the cushioning); & you can get bits of fluff between your toes for the first few wears. Other than that, all good!
I buy these regularly. They are lovely and soft and comfortable and as far as I can tell they prevent blisters. They are very warm. I wear them daily on long dog walks, they wash and dry well. I do tend to eventually rub holes in the heels from the amount of walking I do but I think thats because of the fit of the walking boots I wear. The rest of the sock is still wearable but my heel tends to move up and down in my boots. Depending on the type of boot I'm wearing, I usually wear a thin pair of bamboo socks under these but also wear them on their own. I always wear Sockshop bamboo socks now.
