Trasparenze Jennifer knee high socks are matte opaque 100 denier socks, warm and comfortable thanks to the quality merino wool used.
Made with comfort in mind, the tops aren’t too highly elasticised, but rely on the elastication throughout the weave to keep their hold, so this knee high sock is less likely to cut into the leg. Matching tights are also available in this style and material.

I’ve bought several pairs of these Jennifer socks over the last few years and love them as they’re high, the soft tops don’t mark my legs, plain in colour and knit …plus they are warm. Only proviso, as other reviewers have commented, the toe seam is not reinforced enough and can ladder easily and sometimes holes too soon. I re-sew the toe seam by hand before even wearing them. Given them 5* tho’ as will purchase again.
Lovely comfortable warm knee high socks. Cannot recommend them enough. Socks like these are hard to find unless you live in Italy. I find knee high socks keep you so much warmer in winter. Quality is excellent. Love’em👍
Beautiful knee high socks, very comfortable and compared to some much more expensive brands these are far superior. What I don’t know is how they will last.
These socks are ideal to wear with long skirts and are not tight on the cuff. Lovely material warm and soft I've just ordered two more pairs.

Very soft, fine knit and warm, just what I need
I'm giving these socks a 5* rating as I’ve bought several pairs over the last 3/4 years. I love that they're long (calf or full length), wool and have soft tops but I agree with 2 other reviewers, the toe seams are not adequately sewn. On my first pairs the seam laddered and I had to repair them - at £9 a pair you have to make do and mend. On my subsequent pairs, 2 this year so far, I’ve over sewn the toes before even wearing them. Wish there were more bright colours too particularly now rolled up jeans are in vogue.
They stay up beautifully and don't dig into your legs. I have peripheral neuropathy in the lower legs and feet and need to keep those parts of my body as warm as possible. i am a little concerned about the toe caps as they are not reinforced as much as I think they ought to have been. If they go into holes I will have to sew them up, which I can do as they do not have a defined heal.
