With gentle, smooth and non-irritating fibres, bamboo is great for socks. It’s naturally bacteria-resisting, 40% better at absorbing moisture than cotton, and also has the ability to thermoregulate, so your feet remain constantly comfortable, dry and cool all day.
Bamboo is a robust, sustainable and eco-friendly crop, and thanks to its natural bacteria resistance, it doesn’t need pesticides to grow. It doesn’t need much water either — 40% less water than cotton in fact, but returns 10 times more product per hectare. Bamboo fields absorb huge amounts (12 tonnes!) of carbon dioxide yearly and can pump 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than a comparably-sized field of trees.
