An extended, padded heel defends the Achilles tendon, while other cushion zones shield the ankle bones, toes and ball of the foot.
1000 Mile 3 Seasons Merino Wool Walking Socks use a carefully chosen, merino wool rich fibre blend that is breathable, moisture wicking and is capable of maintaining an even foot temperature, allied with woven-in top and arch venting. Arch bracing creates a customised support fit to keep the foot stable, and Smooth Linked Toes for smooth seams are used, helping reduce the walker’s nemesis, blisters by stopping rubbing and irritation.
Much thicker than I anticipated, leg too long and too narrow to function as a woman's man's sock. Woolen fabric appeared nice but I can't actually get the sock on.
The one pair I have worn up to now are bitting and fraying already.
