I wore these slipper socks from late afternoon until 9 pm, just sitting and pottering in my flat (I’m 81 yrs old). When I took them off II noticed a hole in each one, where the knitting had pulled apart. So because I’d worn them albeit for a few hours only, I kept them and darned the holes. I wouldn’t buy these again for sure.
Size 4 to 8 is much too large for anyone other than a size 8. I found them dangerous in the extreme as I am a size 6 and in walking the slippers slide forward to leave a large chunk of the slipper elongated over my toes and so provide a very dangerous trip hazard. I ordered 4 pairs and due to the policy of sock shop couldn't send the worn pair back even though useless so have returned 3 pairs for a refund
