Delivered a day later than day stated when ordered. Also, pointless putting anything in the box asking for alternate delivery arrangements if no- one is going to be home, as Royal Mail just put a card through your letterbox and you have to go to the sorting office to collect it yourself.
socks were too short, will return them
The socks were superb. Very pleased with the soft, stretchy socks. Less pleased with the wrapping. The postal envelope was strong paper but with bubble plastic stuck to the interior. Socks do not need bubble wrap. These envelopes are not recyclable. The display cards that the socks were held in was made of cardboard with a plastic skin. Again, not recyclable. Sorry but I will not be buying from Sock Shop until the wrappings are recyclable.
the products came with great speed for which thank you. A little less packaging when sending the items. There surely is no need to use a rather large box.
It was not clear this item could not be returned
More information about producy
Goods arrived promptly. I'm not mad on the Royal Mail delivery service: parcel was wet when it arrived.
Items arrived in a timely way. I had to return the products due to the sizes being far too generous. Returns process a little slow but efficient.
The webshop is OK, I hope to receive the socks in a few days
The socks are fine, but the business of them going through a hub for International sales is a poor idea. (especially for something like a couple of pairs of socks. That's not your fault. I found it difficult to track my parcel because the information given was conflicting. And when I asked the Customer Services their answer was neutral and not reassuring. The problems I see are that when people have trouble tracking and tracing where their items are, it causes unwanted stress. And if people have to take days off work because they don't know when the delivery will be, they may then oft for purchasing locally...….. And that means that your International sales go out the window...….. I had a similar problem with some jeans I bought from UK at about the same time, and the dates and times they gave for delivery were all wrong. Furthermore the final delivery couriers said that they'd actually been to my home to deliver the parcel, when they hadn't even found my address. So, it was a difficult experience when it shouldn't have been.
Did what it said on the tin. Delivered quickly
Cannot fault the service but I do think the cost is too high.
I have only given it 3 but it was the post office that delivered it to the wrong address. I chased it up through the delivery office and they found the postman was at fault, signing it off at the wrong location.
The service, delivery, packing etc. were excellent but the socks were too large. I have a 5/12 size foot & these are supposed to fit 4-7.
Service was ok. Nothing special, took quite a few days to reach me and was small enough to post through the letterbox. )
