Sockshop automatic order acknowledgement OK but their subsequent confirmation differed and was incorrect entailing lengthy customer intervention to correct their error.

I do no get a confirmation on email when ordering. I do not get a package tracking message to track the delivery. I receive the evaluation before the goods arrive. :p It takes 9 days before the delivery arrives.

I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't receive a confirmation email from us - these are automated so it should've sent, but I have also mentioned this to our web team to look into - thanks for letting us know. Please also accept my apologies that you have not yet received your order. This was dispatched on 14th November via Royal Mail Air Mail, which usually takes around working days for delivery, though we do ask customers to allow up to 14 days in case of postal delays (particularly during this busy time of year!). Sockshop was excellent but the delivery person left the parcel in an old food recycling bin! Not the most hygenic of places..why not with a neighbour? I was really disappointed.

A good service and the socks were a good quality but a tad too expensive for one pair! Also, I was surprised to hear that it I wanted delivery within 24 hours there was a charge. A great amny online services do this as a matter of course. Perhaps if two pairs of socks were offered at a couple of pounds more you would get a higher demand for next day delivery and that would balance yours costs thereby negating the need to charge for this service
