The service was good. Item arrived on time. However the gloves are poorly made and have had to be returned. The thumb on the left hand was cut poorly and a bad fit. My mother has slim hands and her thumb could barely fit into it, nor was it long enough. The wrist on both gloves was very wide and the gloves are short. Good service but poor quality control.
I emailed with a query about my order and I got a quick response, which was good. However, I sent a 2nd email with a comment about how I thought the description of a pair of socks was misleading and ALSO asked for a recommendation of what to buy. I got no reply, which I thought was poor. Different weights of Jeep fairisle socks turned out to be identical in thickness though 1 pr was described as heavy and the other medium on the website.
I bought a pair of compression socks , large size, I don't have big feet , I take a size 9 in shoes. 2 strong adults were unable to get my socks on. I can't send them back as I've washed them as I do with all new articles of clothing . I sent an email but as yet I have had no reply The socks would appear to be of good quality . If only they fit.......
Still not received them! Now don't need them as needed them to take on holiday. Will be returning then when I return.
Very poor having sent two e-mails telling them not to send them as the size small was not my ,I then took the bother to phone and tell them ,but still they sent them,which ment I had to rewrap them and send them back,which I did yesterday I was not very pleased very poor admin , in dealing with order
The website was very clunky, it was difficult to view and compare the range of sock colours and when selecting a different colour it didn't change colour on the large icon.
No dispatch information was sent out, so I waited a few days while not being sure if socks had been sent or not, I called and then they eventually arrived. The socks have publicity on them that were not shown in the pictures. Wouldn't buy them again because of that.
I couldn't fault the delivery time which was excellent, however the socks were far too big, the ladies socks fit my husband and so I have given them to him, although he takes size 10 in a shoe the ones he got are too large. More attention needs to be given to size until then although the quality is good I won't be buying anymore.
Bought items as gifts. Paid for next day delivery but my items weren't delivered next day which meant I couldn't give the gifts when I needed to. Delivery cost was refunded but doesn't mean much as I couldn't give the gifts!
size 6 to 11 socks....may keep is simple for you but believe me one size doesn't fit all.
It took over a 7 business days to ship to me and I was informed it would only take 5 business days. I was counting on them being here in those 5 days for my best friend's birthday.
Having problems with having a password to save on the sockshop website. I'm a first time customer and had an order dispatched on 3-27-17. It had arrived 4-27-17. 30 days it took for package to arrive.
I ordered 1 pack/2pairs bamboo black socks + 2 packs/4 pairs 'cocoa' socks. The black ones were as illustrated. The 'cocoa' ones were illustrated as 1 pair very dark brown and 1 pair mid-brown ('cocoa', in fact). What arrived were 2 packs with one mid-brown and one off white (stone?) pair. I dislike stone-coloured socks. This is NOT what was advertised on the website. I needed the brown socks and have worn them. Sock Shop will not accept back the unworn off white socks. I was misled. The helpline refused to deal with this complaint!!! The operative said she would forward the complaint to Head Office and asked for my email address. I also filled in the online form setting out my reasons for dissatisfaction but received no reply. I tried again after a week. Still no reply. Service? Appalling! WHY can they not supply a 2-pair pack of socks the same colour? It is not difficult. They can manage it with black socks. Am I the only man in the world who does not want a load of brownish socks that don't match? Very unimpressed
I ordered the product on 2 April and they arrived on the 10th which was rather long for 48hr delivery. I emailed to chase up and got a good reply from customer service
I had to return 2 of the three items due to faults. I was given a refund when I had actually asked for a replacement. I did not find find the person I then emailed very helpful so I rang in - this person was more helpful. I then had to pay again for the replacement items - which was refunded - but I ended up paying full price not the price I had originally paid using a 10% off code. The replacement delivery had one of two items which were faulty so needed to be replaced again. Until this event I had found the service good.
