I ordered a 3 pack of socks for a Christmas present and my order did not turn up. On the first call after a week I was advised to leave 7-10 working days due to Christmas post. I called a second time after 12 working days to say I still had not received the order. I was asked if I wanted a refund or re-order and I asked for a re-order. Customer service called me back to tell me the item was out of stock and my order must have been lost in the post. I looked up the wesite after accepting the refund to find that the item had been reduced in price and there were 2 other colour options available, sadly I was not advised of the alternate colour choices either of which would have been acceptable.

The socks arrived quick however the stitching came out of one of the pairs after a days use! Terrible quality! All I presume the sock shop will say is “send them back for a replacement” however this will take my time and effort. If they had quality stock it wouldn’t be an issue!
Sell the right size for a start. No way on this planet we're the socks suitable for someone with size seven feet.......way too big.
I ordered socks on 10/12/17 and I received an email a couple of days later saying they been dispatched but they weren't and after a week of waiting I emailed the company to ask where they were, I didn't receive a reply so after 10 days of waiting I rang customer services and although the girl on the phone was pleasant there was no apology or reason for their delay! She said she'd chase them up and the reply to my email but as I needed the socks for the 22/12/17, the order was cancelled and I was refunded...
I was charged twice still waiting on a refund a week later. I rang them to straight away spoke to Ruth who was very scarcasic and rude. The second time I spoke to her she hung up. I tried contacting on twitter about this and no surprise no reply. Product was fine but just before Christmas I'm an extra £50 down for a fault on there website and still waiting for a refund. Very stressful and very frustrating. I don't really want to call again to get spoken to how I did so going to wait another 3 days. Fingers crossed it will be back.
I haven't received my order yet so I'll rate the service after that. It said give 5 business days for delivery to US so yesterday was 5 I will wait a few more since because of the holiday... although it would have been wonderful to have gotten them before since they were a gift but I'm a big procrastinator! Lol
Unfortunately, although I have been a regular and satisfied purchaser from SockShop over the last year, I have been very let down by my latest (Christmas) order. I ordered on the last date stated on their website for orders to be received by Christmas (16th December, as I am resident in Belgium), and have as yet not received the parcel (5.30pm 28th December)! I called 20th/21st asking for tracking information which they could not directly give me and were not aware if there was any, and the promised return phone call never happened. I have emailed a couple of days ago, only to be advised that they allow 10 days for delivery to Belgium, even though I had stated in my mail that they were purchased in time and I attached a print screen of this statement on their website. These items were (!) Christmas presents and therefore required last minute substitution when it became apparent they were not going to arrive in time. I feel that the customer service is severely lacking/non-existent and will definitely think twice before ordering from them again!
Although I was notified of drspatch, the socks failed to arrive in 7 days and presumeably will come after Christmas.

Delivery said 2-3 days but took almost 2 weeks

Couldn't remove items from basket. Had to phone.
