These are the best fingerless gloves I've ever had. They really help keep your hands warn even though your fingers are out. The outer wool pills a bit but I guess that's wool for you, then again I do use them for work tasks and they are not really work gloves. I've bought several pairs and some for my my wife too.

Partner who rarely wears gloves because they are so restrictive for various tasks advised he is delighted with these. Fit well and he maintains they are warm and feel substantial

Gloves are very thick which is nice, but they can be a bit difficulty to work in due to the thickness.
