These have been interesting to try. I 'think' they work (only worn once thus far) but how they come through a washing machine and drying cycle would be everything: I don't like that the 'padding' is a different colour from the sock - why not commit the whole way? I suppose I just need to try them out some more. On a more positive note, wearing them with wellingtons definitely made the walk more comfortable, they are just not thick enough (I have skinny ankles) as I've been trying to get away from wearing multiple pairs of socks at a time.
