I only bought socks from this website because it offered me a 24 hour delivery service. However the socks didn’t arrive until 48 hours later so I wasted my delivery fee.
I bought some socks but made a mistake when paying by giving my old address. I emailed sockshop within 2 mins of my mistake to rectify issue. I was emailed 4 hours later saying it was too late to amend . Haven't received items which I've paid for.
Elle ribbed bamboo tights arrived laddered. Ladder was apparent as soon as I tried them on. Rest of the order was fine

Despite paying one day delivery, the order took 2 days to arrive. I called and left a message to find out what was happening and let them know, but didn't receive any acknowledgement of my call. I returned the item (it arrived too late and was actually too small anyway) and I was refunded in the end, but with not apology or explanation. While I was grateful for the refund, customer service and communication was poor.
I have been buying Falke socks for years - the Family, London and Berlin styles in size 35-38. I don’t know if it’s the change from ordering them direct from Germany to buying them from Sock Shop, but the sizing has gone to pot. I take a 35 or 36 shoe and these socks have always been perfect before. The latest batch of six pairs of the Family style are enormous. I’d say they are for a 38 foot. Straight from the pack, they were huge. I washed them at 40° as directed and tumble dried them. Still huge. I washed them at 60° and tumble dried them. Still far too big - the heel still settled half way up my Achilles tendon. I have just boiled them for half an hour on the stove and am hoping that they might fit a 35 size foot now. Not holding my breath.
One of the pairs is faulty. I tried reporting it it the site wouldn’t let me attach a photograph saying the file was too large.
Our daughter could only use one sock as the other had been sewn too tightly to get her foot in!!
Check product before sending. As the item was purchased as a gift I had to purchase another pair and am now awaiting a refund for the faulty pair.
Your 100 mile socks have all shrunk. I have 4 pairs as I originally thought they were very comfortable. I can no longer get the firs 2 pairs on
The socks were meant to be for up to 14 and were meant to be loose tops for a diabetic. The socks were nearer 10-11 and left deep ridges around the wearers ankle. Even normal socks do not leave such a deep ridge
We have a problem with a pair of socks left a phone number twice to talk to someone so far no reply. Why ask to leave a number.
The first wool socks I used had different size socks in the same pair.
I chose bamboo items for sustainability reasons. They're lovely. The packaging was plastic free, but two sets of briefs were supplied with completely unnecessary tiered plastic hangers with no recycling symbol. Very disappointing.
I ordered two packs of bamboo socks one plain and one striped but two packs of plain were delivered
