I won’t go for 1* but the length of time between “despatch” and Royal Mail actually acknowledging receipt was a disgrace. Either dont tell me the items have been despatched until they are ready to go or get them to the Royal Mail faster. Other than that items are just as described and decent quality. Love Sockshop …….. just for the love of god sort out your logistics.
Very quick deliver, but filled in the return form and only got given the Royal Mail Return label, not received an email confirmation of the return. Waiting to see if the refund arrives.

Asked for a refund and they were good with it. Quality it’s poor and doesn’t reflect what the descriptions say
Items of good quality and arrived very promptly. Update Sept 2025 - one of the items has proven to be of very poor quality after just a few weeks. Despite spending some time on chat and sending pictures of the holey socks the issue has not been resolved - very very dissapointed.
The ordering process was relatively straight forward. The item arrived. Delivery was not fast. Returns were a real pain. Took a while to work out how to return item. Lots of ' put code in this form' was required. Chat didnt respond at all. Pointless. The options for return need a printer. Again outdated as a return method when scanning an easy bar code would be better. Lots of emails about this but very slow or no response to requests for return advice. In the end got someone else to print label and took time to do a second trip to post office. Label said scan and post ofgice will accept but post officevwanted to scan after printed labrl had been attached. As no printer working, this was a huge time waster. Probably wouldn't order again from Sock Shop because of the slow and difficult processes in place.
Contacted customer service initially through chat to report faulty goods. Connection on the chat kept dropping (their site's problem, not my connection) so it took a long time to resolve and send photos as they requested. Then I had to wait for a customer service manager to contact me. They wouldn't issue a refund until I returned the faulty products to them, which at least could be done via freepost. I've been issued the refund today but they appear to have refunded an amount per pair equivalent to the discounted multi-buy price for these socks, meaning that for the two pairs I kept (the only two that didn't immediately sprout holes), I've been charged more than the price listed on the website. Poor overall.

Just sent negative review about products. Not had time to check out the customer service as yet.
The order process and delivery was very good
Sadly the overall shopping experience is let down by their choice of courier. That being Royal Mail. Royal Mail service is trash and has been for a long time. Why stores insist on using them to deliver their products is puzzling. What was supposed to be a 48hr delivery ended up being a 120hr delivery ! And it’s not the first time Royal Mail deliveries from Sock Shop have turned up late. Give customers a choice of couriers. DPD and even EVRi provide a more reliable service.
Very prompt delivery, items just as ordered.
Terrible that you can’t return this item but also can’t possibly see if they fit without removing the packaging and nylon ties! Do not purchase, ridiculously tight even by going to a larger size that’s supposed to fit 3 sizes larger than my feet!
