Not that we’re trying to be ‘prescriptive’ here, BUT… everyone should have at least one pair of argyle socks in their collection. Absolutely a classic design, argyle never falls out of fashion and is a solid everyday sock choice - especially when it's this great quality, Burlington Everyday Mix Plain and Argyle Cotton Socks, supplied as a mixed twin pack.
The argyle is a very traditional one, and an absolute classic, complete with fine raker (the slim stitch crossing over the block diamond pattern.) The argyle pair has the Burlington metal clip detail on one ankle, while the plain are completely that, from toes to cuffs. Both pairs of soft, cotton rich socks are fine gauge woven, and have proper Smooth Linked Toes for smooth seams.
