Socks have a press stud on the side of the sock which I subsequently found out is a Burlington "design feature". This could come off in the washing machine, damaging it, and also be a risk to small children/pets. You cannot remove it without making a hole in the sock. Disappointed!

You are correct in making the point that it cannot be removed without damaging the sock. Burlington socks have been designed to a high quality and I have not heard of the stud coming off while washing. However, we can completely understand if you no longer want these socks and so please just pop them back to us in the post using the FREEPOST UK returns label which was included in your order.
