Nice comfortable material. The grip is nice and gentle and just enough to prevent them falling down. However they are grossly undersized when new (I even bought size 12-14 for my 9.5 feet) and shrink even in a low temperature wash (40C). See the size comparison in the images after just one wash. Effectively they can only be worn once.
Sockshop do a superb sock 'sockshop & gentle' which unfortunately I cannot find on the website. This sock unfortunately feels quite thin and not as gentle. Comfort is very average for Sockshop. Durability and long life still being assessed but not expected to last as long. Positive is this sock does not slip in any way. I am very rough and heavy on socks so this is probably not the ideal sock for me personally. I will speak to Sockshop because I want to find the 'sockshop & gentle' sock. Best sock I've ever had for comfort and durability and totally trust the brand.
