It says Bamboo. However, the fabric more resembles a synthetic fibre; it must have been heavily chemically treated. Nothing like the bamboos socks I have purchased elsewhere. The quality is also very poor: the elastic stretches really easily on the cuffs, and the toes are already wearing through after only 2 to 3 days of use (my feet are not that gnarly).
