1/) You did not have the socks I wanted in stock. 2.) There was only one style I really like in the whole of sockshop, these only go up to a size 7, and had sold out. 3.) The ladies socks do not go up to a 8 or 9. Why not!? There are plenty of people who want bright, happy coloured, well made, hard wearing socks in these sizes. 5.) I had to make do with the next best thing, but the next best thing is rather corporate looking rather than soft hiker bright colours. 6.) The elastic is TOO TIGHT. I have great legs and like alot of people have done a fair amount of cycling and walking. I am 5'9", average build, v slightly underweight. The elastic always digs in by the end of the day. ;-(
