Many people are affected by fluid retention and swelling of the legs. Our IOMI FootNurse Oedema Extra Wide Cotton Socks are specially designed to help those conditions by being able to gently stretch to fit to the exact contours of your legs and feet, without causing pressure or restriction.
Our soft and cotton rich extra wide socks can expand to a maximum leg circumference of 30 inches (76 cm). This is due to a loose knit weave that adjusts gently, without causing unwanted constriction for sensitive, swollen legs. Made in Britain to high standards, these foot-and-leg-kind IOMI FootNurse socks have also been produced with flat, Smooth Linked toes for smooth seams to prevent the rubbing and irritation that can cause blisters.
Oedema is the medical term for fluid retention. These socks can also help with lymphoedema (chronic swelling caused by the lymphatic system not draining properly) and other size-related conditions of the legs, ankles and feet.

I bought for an old man that has very swollen ankles and legs. I have not seen them on. I did pull to test the stretch and whilst they are thin socks and potentially could slide about, they seem to have the required stretch in them, whereas others don't. They are very expensive for socks though! £15 pair!
They fit and don't compress the foot...consequently are extremely comfortable.
Only socks I have found that are suitable (stretchy enough and not restrictive/tight) to go over leg bandages, they are indeed extra wide as described. Downside is the price...if you need to buy a weeks worth of socks it’s very expensive! A multi buy offer would be appreciated.

Purchased this product for my husband to try for his water retention in his ankles whilst travelling. THey are actually too big for him as his legs do not swell to this extent, But we are impressed by the quality. We have tried other products like this in the past and these are well above any for quality.
Genuinely wide and soft tops. Slightly thick making slippers feel tight.
Good socks except for bump at either end of toe join. This irritates my father's somewhat sensitive skin but I am sure would be fine for most people.
