I wear these socks almost every day , I walk a lot. These sock do not rely on wool like other makes and I don't get the blisters on my heels I got with wool socks. I am 64 and my boots fit fine. After ayear or so the wear on the Thorlo heels shows they have absorbed friction. I have worn Thorlos for over 15 years.
