Just what I was looking for, since my socks were too tight around my legs causing a significant dip and possibly inhibiting return of blood from my feet and increasing swelling. The knit is quite loose and the fibres rather vulnerable to getting snagged on things.
These are excellent socks for me as my legs are swollen with oedema and ordinary socks dig into my legs at the cuff.
