PRODUCT REVIEWS
WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY
Overall, these reviews highlight the comfort and effectiveness of the socks, especially their ability to prevent swelling in the ankles without leaving pressure marks. A feature that is particularly appreciated is the gentle grip, which reportedly keeps the socks from slipping down but doesn’t dig into the calves. They are also applauded for being lightweight, warm, and coming without lumpy seams over the toes. Customers spoke positively about their durability, reporting that they wash well and don't shrink. These socks are also described as helpful in alleviating irritation on dry patches of skin. However, some users found the online ordering process not very user-friendly, especially for the elderly, and the communication from the organization around the order too frequent. Overall, the socks are seen as good quality and value for money, resulting in repeat orders from customers.

First looser top socks my husband actually likes.brilliant
Husband very happy
I purchased pair of these for my father who is elderly and suffering from cancer and swollen legs. They are great socks. The only issue I had which was no fault of sockshop was the postage and delivery. ROYAL MAIL!!! I ordered them on 26th May and eventually received them 2nd June!!!!! If I were the sockshop I would use a new delivery service.
after a replacement ankle operation my socks caused swelling, the gentle grip socks work perfectly to stop this
They did exactly what they said they would do. Stop my feet an ankles from swelling. Felt light to wear and felt warm as well.
Have had these for some time just purchased a second batch. They comfortable and appear to wash well without shrinking which is why I tried these. A bit early to comment on durability with only a few months of wear but so far so good
Not a joy getting order thru to you. Old people are not too good with modern communications. We have the money but sometimes difficult to spend it. However sox are good. Nice and fine with no lumpy seam over the toes. Could have been a bit longer in leg. Sorry no photo ability for this not there yet.
Lovely and soft socks in my favourite colour. Expertly delivered by Royal Mail. Will use again.
Very comfortable smart-looking socks. I am actually female but find the larger sizes best.
Excellent product. These socks are so soft and leave no pressure marks . Will definitely order more of these Gentle Grip Bamboo Socks.
Excellent socks. Very soft and the gentle grip works really well. Socks stay pulled up but don't dig into calves at all.
I bought these because I was tired of my husband scratching a dry patch of skin on his ankle. He's worn them (6 pairs) for the past week and, hooray, is no longer scratching thus giving the patch time to heal. Thank you for restoring the peace!
Perfect fit and gentle on my ankles... yet they don't fall off. I have tried many other pairs but these are the best.
These gentle grip plain bamboo socks are also great, I order these socks to try it on to start with and when I order these items I receive very quickly then expected. I will recommend anyone without hesitation, and Can’t compare with other brands of socks purchased from other stores. Buying from sock shop they are so so good material , I will not be buying from other stores other then sock shops only, that’s how good quality they sell
A good gentle fit, down side, cannot tumble dry.
